After completing all preparations and training dives, our first full-scale dive was to SS Burdigala. We haven’t seen the beauty since last year and it was good to see her again.
The representatives of the BBC radio and BBC News have visited U-Boat’s expedition to Britannic 2016 in Greece.
Our pilot Dmitry Tomashov submerged in Triton 3300/3 to show the reporters around one of our favorite wrecks. Navigator’s crew and the technical divers team shared some of their experience, knowledge with the journalists and gave a brief introduction to the diving process.
Expedition to Britannic is at a full swing now, with more details to follow.
And so it begins… Early morning 3d June 2016, at about 6 o’clock, U-Boat Navigator with its crew and Triton subs onboard left port and headed North-East. The weather was lovely and it didn’t take too long for U-Boat Navigator to enter the Aegean Sea.
After receiving our mini sub and having it undergo all primary stage tests it was time to push our Triton submarines closer to their depth limits.
